However, mine worked okay. One reviewer mentioned that it was hard (or impossible) to plug things into the middle section. I did have a push firmly to get it to go in, but I am able to use all the plugs, and it all works just fine.
I have used Belkin products for many of my electronics, and have not been disappointed or let down. I'm ready to now purchase more Belkin surge protectors.
I alternate the swiveling heads and you can fit 8 large plugs on the sides, plus 4 regular plugs down the middle.Awesome design. We probably have 7 surge protectors of all kinds around the house, but this is the only one that I'm able to actually use every outlet. When we need #8, this is the one we'll order.
Other than that I am very pleased with it and knew about the plug at the time of purchase The plus side is that all my different adapters fit without falling out. I wanted a surge protector with more than a token amount of joules and with 4320 Joule energy rating it provides all I should need. I like the Idea of lights to let me know that I am protected not just on. It would have been nice if the power plug was at 90 degrees so my computer cabinet would set flush to the wall.
This power strip is actually very compact for a 12 outlet strip and the pivoting outlets at great for all those oversized transformers and the phone spliter is nice if you hook up VOIP and have an base system and an extra phone that is corded or not conected to the other base system,I like the on/off switch also.The only thing I noticed is Amazom price really jumps around.I got it for $28 and a few days later it was $38 ,I think alot of people are buying them to protect a new computer/modem or HD Tv set,which is a must.
